La Porte ISD trustee David Janda (left) receives a certificate acknowledging his designation as a Master Trustee from Phil Gore, leadership team services division director at the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB). Janda completed Leadership TASB during the 2018-19 school year and was honored at a ceremony on June 21, 2019 in conjunction with TASB’s Summer Leadership Institute. He is the fifth La Porte ISD trustee to participate in the program after Kathy Green (2007), Edward Matuszak (2008), Bill Snead (2009), and Craig Hulcy (2011).
